I am an internationally experienced journalist, director and cameraman with an extensive track record in documentary, news, sport, corporate and online productions. Although my work is wide-ranging I specialise in remote, hostile and other environments or projects where it’s not always desirable or possible to send a larger crew.
I have worked solo as well as leading crews in some of the most remote parts of the globe, including the jungles and deserts of Africa, European and North American mountain ranges, the Arctic circle and some of the Middle East’s most turbulent hot spots, as well as with all three services of the British Armed Forces.
I am a firm believer in the benefit of multi-skilling where it brings increased and appropriate value to a production and am attracted to challenge of creating powerful, effective and striking content regardless of the challenges of the location, topic or circumstance. I also have experience of working undercover and covertly as well as filming from aircraft.
Although I specialise in environments and projects where a smaller team may be desirable, I am equally comfortable working on more complex, higher-end shoots with production teams.
I have previous experience in radio and print with work appearing in The Scotsman, The Guardian and The List.
Outside of work, I am a keen hillwalker, rugby fan and photographer. A selection of my personal stills work can be seen at www.oneframeintwentyfive.co.uk.
